walk/update/new year

i’ve stopped running for a little bit and started walking instead. 

reasons:

i am not voraciously hungry after a walk

i can head out the door for a walk in 10 seconds flat in whatever i am wearing - just need reasonably supportive shoes. 

walking is peaceful

i don’t need to ‘psych myself up’ just to go for a walk…  going for a walk actually sounds really nice, so i actually want to do it.

with the hills around here, walking is actually a great workout still, especially since i can walk for a lot longer (in minutes) than i can run.

still hovering around 128-130. 

i stopped counting calories over the holidays - just felt like i needed a break - and also let myself go a bit with eating - - - i was up to 134 when we got back, but in a few days i was back down.  i did do a lot of yoga, and ran a lot over Christmas, but again, that after-running appetite… it does me no favors, at this point. 

feeling great about the new year.  i don’t have this looming 30 POUNDS TO LOSE goal like i did last year - - but I STILL WANT MUSCLES!  : )
